Hi Elena,
My fiance and I were hoping to get some advice on how to find a place to stay in Tuscany for three days after my wedding in June. We don’t have much time, but would love to find a private place to spend three nights before heading back to work. We have been searching for weeks, but find it very difficult to find places on the internet. Everything we see requires a week minimum stay or is focused on people that want more all-inclusive experiences and don’t mind being with other groups.
We don’t need luxury, just something simple, cozy, private and preferably with a view (something to enjoy over morning coffee or afternoon wine). We were hoping to be within walking distance (for us that means 1-1.5 hours walk) from a small Italian town or village (preferably those hilltop ones that look amazing!). Anyway, if you have any ideas on how to even go about searching, we would appreciate it tremendously as we are so lost!

First of all congratulations on your upcoming wedding Tuscany is a stunning romantic destination for honeymooners
With “private place” you mean a sort of small villa or independent apartment with privacy with no other around? Tell me more so I can be more precise with my suggestions.
For now, here is what I recommend:
At Villa Bordoni in Greve in Chianti are beautiful suites enjoying a lot of privacy, you are walking distance from the nice village of Greve. Chianti is one of the most scenic regions in Tuscany.
The Castle of Meleto, still in Chianti, offers accommodations also in apartments and villas that enjoy great privacy.
Agriturismo Ardene near the wonderful Montepulciano offers charming rooms and apartments in a secluded location.
Agriturismo Cretaiole near Pienza again offers apartments for rent at a farmhouse.
Most apartments and villas are inserted within farmhouses or villas with pool where of course you may expect to find other guests, though each apartment has is private entrance and outdoor private areas.
