We would like to explore San Gimignano and wondered if you could recommend some lovely accommodation for two of us with homemade cooking and fireplace. Thank you

Thanks a lot for contacting me! I’m happy to give some advice San Gimignano is actually one of the most beautiful and suggestive places to stay in Tuscany! There are many special places to stay both in its town’s center and in the surroundings. Just outside the city walls is Locanda Viani, a very special place to stay where you can find fantastic home made food and a familiar ambience. Other great options can be the lovely Agriturismo Guardastelle and the boutique country inn Locanda dell’Artista.
