Could you please organize me a trapel plan (4 days) in Tuscany. Our first stop will be Orvietto. We are like to travel and see scenic places and beautifull villages (no more than 2 hours in each village). Also, we want to stay for one day in Florence. I have already plan the first day (Orvieto, Bagnoregio, Sorano, Pitigliano, Sovana).

Hi!
Thanks for contacting me.
Tuscany is the right place to be for scenic and beautiful places.
Your first day is quite full great! all the towns you’ve chosen are breathtaking! I speak about Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio among the most beautiful villages in Italy. Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana are lesser known treasures of Tuscany, all very impressive!
Here is the best travel plan I suggest for your stay in Tuscany:
1st Day as planned: Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana
2nd Day: Bagno Vignoni, Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, Cortona
On leaving Sorano and Sovana drive north to reach the famous hill town of Montalcino, but before make a brief stop in the lovely Bagno Vignoni. The route up to Montalcino, the Via Cassia (SR2), is enchanting, you’re going to pass near the Mount Amiata and the Fortress of Radicofani, getting thorough Castiglione and San Quirico d’Orcia. The Orcia Valley is famous for its splendid landscape, medieval villages, unique food and wine! Montalcino, town of the Brunello is beautiful and has splendid views! After Montalcino drive east to reach the other stunning villages in the area, especially Pienza, one of the most beautiful Tuscan hill towns! Here the panorama is endless. Then go for Montepulciano and finally Cortona.
3rd Day: Siena, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Chianti
On leaving Cortona head in direction of Siena, that offers a lot to see! Then the tiny and beautiful medieval walled town of Monteriggioni, and the stupendous San Gimignano, unique medieval village with towers. Finally go in direction of Florence but passing through Chianti, partly driving along the wonderful Chiantigiana road. Castellina, Panzano, and Greve in Chianti will be on your route.
4th Day Florence
Considering you’ll spend one day in the wonderful Renaissance city of Florence, here is a mini-guide to Florence top attractions.
Enjoy your stay!

Thanks for getting back to me
Considering you will have to be back at Ciampino airport on your 5th day, and that your schedule would be too difficult this way, I’d plan like this:
For your 2nd Day, that is quite full of towns to visit, your must see should be Bagno Vignoni, Montalcino (both the town and the near Abbey of Sant’Antimo), and Siena. I would skip Castiglione, Radicofani, and Buonconvento, just stop in one of these if you have time. It’s better you start visiting Siena on your 2nd day, so to have the time to visit it! Siena is quite a large art town with a lot to see! For your 3rd day continue the visit to Siena, then go for Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and soon Florence, that offers a lot to see and do.
On your fourth day from Florence head to Chianti and its villages, where I’d visit Panzano in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, and consider a stop to visit a great winery, like Badia a Passignano, and have lunch there. I would skip Asciano and San Giovanni d’Asso to direct toward Montepulciano and then Pienza. Let me know if I can be of further help! Have a nice day, elena
