Hi Elena-I love your blog. It has been so useful and I can’t wait to travel to Italy and especially Tuscany!
We plan to stay 2-3 nights in Florence, then 2-3 nights at either Villa Bordoni or Hotel Lupaia (which should we choose) Then we are planning to drive to Amalfi coast. My husband is a good driver but do you recommend? In Amalfi should we stay at Le Sirenuse or Monastero Santa Rosa. They are both in the same price range, I just don’t know which one to choose. Please send your advice.

I know all the properties you mention and they’re all fantastic. Between Villa Bordoni and Hotel Lupaia, I prefer the second one, really a unique place full of charm. I also love its location near Montepulciano in Val d’Orcia.
A car is actually essential to tour the Amalfi Coast so you may drive up there. Between Le Sirenuse and Monastero Santa Rosa, I prefer the beautiful Monastero Santa Rosa, really amazing! Its location facing the sea is unforgettable.
