Montalcino is definitely one of the most romantic places in Tuscany The landscape itself is full of romance!
To celebrate the special occasion I highly recommend the elegant and very romantic restaurant La Sala dei Grappoli, set in a fairytale location at the beautiful and renowned Castle of Banfi, 20 minutes from Montalcino’s historic center.
La Sala dei Grappoli is open for dinner while the other restaurant of the Castle, La Taverna, is open for lunch.
The castle produces some of the best Tuscan wines, and the location amid green hills and vineyards is enchanting. I think it’s the right place for an unforgettable meal
