Lying in one of the most beautiful corners of Tuscany, in the scenic countryside near Pienza, Villa Mia is a wonderful exclusive villa with swimming pool enjoying a superb location and a stunning panorama.

Villa Mia pienza

With love and care, the sisters Barbara and Sabrina has beautifully turned what were just ruins, into an amazing luxury villa, in the heart of the Val d’Orcia region south of Siena. The Villa is rented as a whole.

This beautiful Tuscan farmhouse, dating from the 19th century, features 6 lovely bedrooms, 6 wonderful bathrooms with shower or hydromassage bathtub, 3 fully equipped kitchens with airy living rooms, wonderfully furnished outdoor areas, and a fantastic swimming pool! If that was not enough, the villa also enjoys vast fabulous views all over undulating hills, while facing the extraordinary Renaissance town of Pienza, famous for its beauty and its pecorino cheese.

Your exclusive retreat in Tuscany

This luxury villa with pool in Pienza is furnished in typical country style, with stone walls, hand painted tiles, hand made bricks, and beautiful old wood floors. The atmosphere is very warm and relaxing, typical of the Tuscan country house. Your stay will then be made even more pleasant and comfortable by the modern facilities like air conditioning, wifi and screen windows. That’s a place full of charm.

Among the various services you can enjoy the possibility to have massages Schiatsu or Ayurveda, wine and cheese tastings, maid service, private chef.

Awesome Swimming Pool with View

All enclosed by travertine stone, the swimming pool of the villa is long and narrow (4x18m), scenically surrounded by whites roses and lavender, while offering breathtaking views. A swimming pool actually meant to have great swims and take serious exercise. Also perfect to relax and lie under the Tuscan sun.

A unique location in Val d’Orcia: the Paradise of Tuscany!

The villa has a stunning view over Pienza with its unique silhouette. Pienza is known as the Ideal City of the Renaissance as it fully embodies all the principles of Humanism.

The Val d’Orcia is part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites and is therefore a protected natural park, the perfect place to have great walks and take great pics! This area also produces some of the finest and most famous red wines of the world, notably the Brunello di Montalcino. The hill villages like Pienza, Montalcino, San Quirico d’Orcia, and Bagno Vignoni are simply magical and all to discover.

This is one of the most beautiful areas of Italy! The perfect place to pass an unforgettable holiday in Tuscany!

    Hello Elena

Next May (2016), I will be traveling with my Husband and 18 year old son to Germany and to Italy (it is my son’s graduation present). He is a huge history buff, but also loves beautiful scenery, culture and food (of course, he’s a boy). We are not quite sure where we will be going in Germany yet, but that will be the first half of our trip, and the second half will be in Italy, preferably the Tuscany vicinity. We will be looking to rent a villa or something similar so that we can relax a bit, but still be able to take nice day trips as well as allow for my son to be able to venture into the local towns to do some exploring on his own.

Could you make any recommendations for us. Thank you.

    -Andrea

      Hi Andrea,
Happy to give some advice. A trip to Germany and to Italy is a fantastic as a graduation present:-)

I think the most important thing is to decide where to stay in Tuscany. I imagine you will have a car to move around, on the contrary do make Florence your base in Tuscany. Depending on how many days you’re staying in the region, you might also choose to stay in 2 dirreferent locations:
the beautiful San Gimignano, famous village with towers amid a splendid countryside, is a good and central base to explore Tuscan sights
-Siena or the Val d’Orcia area are other 2 great options to stay.

But also Chianti can be perfect. I suggest you give a look at the useful info about how to plan the ideal trip to Tuscany, so you can get an idea. Each area of Tuscany has its peculiar characteristics.

Tale a look and let me know for any more suggestion,
      elena from Florence

    Hi Elena,

We are planning our wedding in Tuscany for next year – exactly in last week in May 2016. We would like to make it special, with the party in the garden, pool, feuer, life music and so.. We expect cca 80 guests. My thinking was to rent a villa, where part of our guests can also live few days. I would like to ask you for recommendation of the nice historical farm house or villa in Tuscany.

    Thank you very much.
    Wisch you a nice day,
    Andrea
